Privacy Policy

Our comprehensive Privacy Policy will be added to the website prior to launch.

Until then, this is intended to address some of the initial questions you may have.

Your privacy is our priority. MemoirMe follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

You can contact our Privacy Officer, Karen Hamilton, at any time - connect@memoirme.co.nz

Where is my information stored? Who owns my memoirs?

Your stories will live in MemoirMe’s own database in Sydney, Australia.

All information you add to your profile will be encrypted and backed up every day.

We will use one-time codes and magic links rather than passwords, so there will be no login information for a hacker access.

Your profile information and memoirs are yours, they will never be sold or used for advertising. You can export or delete them at any time. MemoirMe is just the custodian!

Who can see my information?

Only you will be able to see your information and memoirs, unless you actively choose to share them from within the platform.

Not even the MemoirMe team will be able to read your stories.

Sharing your memoirs is optional and MemoirMe’s AI will run a privacy check to alert you to any personal information contained in your stories before you share them.

How much control do I have over MemoirMe's AI ?

MemoirMe is an AI-powered life story builder, AI is like a helper that you have control over.

AI will make suggestions but you make all the decisions. You can turn it off at anytime and still use the platform.

Our AI will never learn from information you provide in your profile or memoirs.
